  • I
haven’t posted in a while — obviously — but that’s because not much
has been going on.  I am finding that I am settling into the home
schooling routine for this year, probably better than any other year
I’ve schooled.   I don’t really have a lot of time in my day
where I’m not doing anything.   This is especially true
Monday – Wednesday.  Monday is basically just a “heavy” school day
and trying to get through my laundry of the last week.  Tuesday we
have school then classes outside the home then ballet.  Wednesday
I add to my schedule all my errands and heavy cleaning.
Thursdays I try to keep open for fun things to do in the afternoon and
evening.  Friday, busy again, finishing up the week and getting
ready for next week.  There are so many little projects to do,
yet, they just will not get done until Christmas break — there’s just
no time.  Or, actually, there is, but by the end of my day, like
now, I’m ready to just sit for a while and relax.

Here is a good word about our justification from Oswald Chambers:

    If
when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His
Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life

    —Romans 5:10

    “I am
not saved by believing— I simply realize I am saved by believing. And
it is not repentance that saves me— repentance is only the sign that I
realize what God has done through Christ Jesus. The danger here is
putting the emphasis on the effect, instead of on the cause. Is it my
obedience, consecration, and dedication that make me right with God? It
is never that! I am made right with God because, prior to all of that,
Christ died. When I turn to God and by belief accept what God reveals,
the miraculous atonement by the Cross of Christ instantly places me
into a right relationship with God. And as a result of the supernatural
miracle of God’s grace I stand justified, not because I am sorry for my
sin, or because I have repented, but because of what Jesus has done.
The Spirit of God brings justification with a shattering, radiant
light, and I know that I am saved, even though I don’t know how it was
    accomplished.”

I leave you with a few pictures:

    Bekka and Elizabeth
Bekka’s mom and I always admire the difference in their coloring – such a contrast and both so beautiful.

Oh yes, thanks for asking about the fall.  I still have a week bit of red on my temple over my right eye but makeup usually covers it!

  • I don’t know how many more treatments she
has as far as I know she will continue treatments
until its gone. Her count has dropped over 100 points
which is good. But she gets sick alot here lately but
gives me the feeling that she had still rather stay
on the chemo. He mentioned changing it once here while
back but she said to me I don’t want him to change it.
Humm I don’t know. She is very strong but her strongness
now for her is weak if you know what I mean. And i’m sure
you do. Thanks for your concern, God bles you.

  • howdy.  I am glad to see that you are feeling better and are keeping busy.  I really wish I’d started out homeschooling my son years ago.  The public school system really did a number on him.  The pictures are really good.  All the girls are just absolutely beautiful!!!
