Hi ho.
How your week been??? Mine has been busy, busy and still tomorrow –
more busyness, but at least tomorrow is fun busyness – to the beach
then a game of bunco in the evening!
Gracie’s birthday was fun and so was the 4th. Both Sunday and
Monday were REALLY relaxing even with celebrating and entertaining!
Monday we had some good friends over for a swim — they treated us to
some yummy yummy carne asada and fixin’s. Here are some pictures:
Here’s all the kids!

On a
complete different note, I have some minor surgery next week — not looking
forward to it as I will not be put to sleep — I hate shots… I hate
pain… Oh well. This should be the last thing I need to do for
my reconstruction.
Ok… so I did start exercising!
Yeah! I did notice that my chest muscle, where it connects to the
bone, did bother me a bit today. Hopefully that will not continue
to be the case. So, yesterday I did resistance exercises and
today I walked while Gracie zoomed back and forth on her new roller
blades. Starting slow, but hope to work up to two days a week resistance and 5 – 6 days fast walking. Now I am sitting typing listening to my dear daughter serenade me on
the piano — she plays so beautifully!!!! The other three are
quietly playing together behind me, laughing. Such a peaceful
evening!!!Goodnite.

thanks for the comment. I rarely post on xanga anymore, because I just have so many other things going on, it’s hard to remember to even come here. looks like you guys had a great party! your surgery is going to go well, and your recovery will be awesome, because you are an awesome person, and because God is on your side.
I’ll send up prayers too, for a quick recovery, and for courage when they come at ya with those needles. I’m a nurse, and I don’t like needles myself.
have a great day!

Yay! You started! How goes it? I won’t be able to talk to you much this weekend. I’m off to CHEA. Eat well! I will do my best while I’m out too! I’ll be praying for you specifically for this area…you pray for me too okay?
Okay, I’m off right now to the gym!
Love you!

Great pics! Looks like everyone had a great time. You are in my prayers for your surgery. Hope you had fun at the beach.
RYC: Thanks! Marc is a good husband, but he hates conflict with family or friends. He does listen to me, it just takes him a while sometimes. And he does feel bad for his friend and does feel quilty, but at the same time he doesn’t want him mooching off of us either. He is just torn. I feel bad for him that his friend put him in this situation. Thanks for you words of encouragement.
Hey….sounds like your all doing pretty good! Glad to hear it! Thanks for posting on my site….I felt like you really understood what I was saying…thanks!
Those are nice pictures!
I’ll praying for you for the surgery next week!
Your daughter does play beautifully! I look forward to seeing what God does in her life with that gift!

I’ll be keeping you especially in my prayers next week as you have your surgury. I know you’ll be so glad when it’s over!
In the meantime, it looks as if you’re all having such a wonderful time.
I hope we can leave Fl later next week and that the heavy rains will not deter us! We hope to make it to MI and IN this year. We may look into getting a park model or apt. to stay during the summer months. Thanks for your prayers in regard to that decision.
Have a wonderful week end. We’ll be waiting for the winds and the rains! Hopefully no tornados. I keep grateful to God for his blessings and His protection.
God Bless you!
